Corporate Networking Night (CNN) was held in Wilbur Cross North Reading Room in Storrs, Connecticut. Hosted by the UConn Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), the event is in collaboration with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), as well as, the Society of Hispanic Professional Students (SHPE). CNN offers students of these organizations, the ability to connect with corporate recruiters, build connections, and learn more about how their education will apply in the workforce. The event allows businesses with an affirmative corporate commitment and mission to employee diversity and inclusion the opportunity to meet these students, recruit potential candidates, and engage in personable conversations over light refreshments.
